NOBLES
Elected and Appointed Divan: Charcoal Grey blazer (available at Penney #552-0245) or another make of the same or close color, with black slacks, white mock turtleneck or turtlneck shirt, black shoes and socks. This will be the "uniform" for Stated Meetings and Official Visits to units and clubs during the cooler months.
Potentate's Aides: Blue blazer with white mock turtleneck or turtleneck shirt, grey slacks, black shoes and socks. This will be the "uniform" for Stated Meetings and Official Visits to units and clubs during the cooler months.
Summer Events and Parades, Elected and Appointed Divan and Aides: The white Guayabera shirt (sometimes called the Mexican Wedding or Cuban shirt) with Shrine logo (in black) will be the summer event and parade shirt, to be worn with khaki slacks, brown shoes and socks. These shirts are available on the web from various sources with prices ranging from $25 to $35. We will be taking orders to buy in bulk.
Fezzes are to be worn at all events (except funerals and the Shrine Picnic) unless otherwise noted.
LADIES
Elected and Appointed Divan: Purple butterfly jacket with turquoise, white or black blouse and slacks/skirt or dress. These should be worn to all Official Visits throughout the year, except those that directly follow a parade.
Potentate's Chief Aide and Assistant Chief Aide: Please wear the Elected/Appointed divan outfit.
Potentate's Aides: Turquoise jacket with purple, white or black blouse and slacks/skirt or a dress.
Parades: A turquoise and/or purple blouse, worn with khaki or white shorts, capri's or slacks. The shirts will be available for purchase closer to summer to wear at the parades and any Official Visits that fall directly after a parade.
Note: the purple butterfly jackets and the turquoise jackets are one size fits all and are available for purchase from Deborah Jordan.
